Ten years ago, my older boys went to Mary's school. I truly believe her foundation and the traditional values she taught them are a huge part of their foundation and credit to their character and success as students today. Most of all I believe in the genuine love and confidence she gave them. I can't recommend her enough!!!! -Bridgette Belew
Mrs. Mary Beard's style of education provided the early stimulation I needed to develop a love for learning. From my academic studies in an Ivy League University to my research and humanitarian aid in India's slums, I have kept in mind how grateful I am that Mrs. Beard introduced me to the world of learning. --Collin Schenk
When our son first started Cedars Prep, we were anxious and concerned about his development and his ability to meet the expectations and standards required of him in kindergarten. Prior to Cedars Prep, we had experience with two other local private schools only to find that one left him flailing, looking for direction, while the other specifically told us he was too far behind and that it was too late in the year for them to be able to help him. To say we were discouraged, concerned, and saddened was an understatement.
When we met Mrs. Mary, Mrs. Brittany, and the other staff at Cedars Prep, we were immediately encouraged. We instantly saw improvement, and in just a few months through encouragement, structure, firm boundaries where needed, and love and support, our son is THRIVING in kindergarten.
We have also put in our work at home, helping him in some of the areas he needed to improve upon, but the teachers at Cedars Prep helped give him the confidence to believe he could do anything he attempted to do. Overcoming this lack of confidence, we believe, was one of his greatest obstacles, and by choosing Cedars Prep, we rest in knowing we have given our son the best, most solid educational foundation available. -Candy AlexanderI first learned of Cedars through co-workers/friends and decided to enroll my 2 year old daughter after visiting and meeting the extraordinary Ms. Mary. Cedars Preparatory is very unique and has been such a wonderful experience for her.
The teachers are wonderful and it is obvious they love and have a passion for teaching. My daughter loves "her" school and enjoys coming each day to learn, play, and be with her teachers and friends.
Not a day has gone by since she started that I have once questioned that she is in the right place. I highly recommend Cedars to parents looking for their child to receive quality education, care, and love for their child in a unique and personalized setting. -Bridget RainCopyright 2012 The Cedars Prep.
