About Us
The Cedars Preparatory Academy is a unique private school dedicated to academic excellence. We provide a preschool and kindergarten program with both year round (261 days) and traditional (180 days) nine month programs, as well as elementary grades K - 5th, and summer programs for ages two through twelve. Each child’s unique gifts are honored in an exceptionally healthy, safe, and nurturing environment.

About The Founder
Mary Beard, M.ED. has forty-five years of experience in educating children and thirty-four of those years as a school director/owner. She also chaired the Education Committee of The Wilson County Chamber of Commerce for 4 years.
The Cedars Preparatory Academy stands alone in the Wilson County private school market in terms of size, amenities, curriculum, experience, and security measures.
